Home is where the heart is. Keeping your home beautiful and garden immaculate can often become difficult without a helping hand. So, too, can travelling into town or cooking a big meal. That’s why we created Georges River Home Services.

Whether it’s raking leaves, climbing ladders, cleaning cars, walking dogs, grocery shopping, tidying and organising… Perhaps you simply want to venture outdoors and enjoy the scenery. Whatever it is, we’re here to help.

Our Home Services professionals can arrange transport for you in the blink of an eye (and accompany you too, if you like!)

Because living alone doesn’t mean living without support.

Dementia Day Centre

Dementia Day Centre

The dementia day respite centre is located on the grounds of Gillawarna in a lovely setting . Our clients are provided with activities designed to meet their social, physical and psychological needs, whilst providing their carers the opportunity to take a break from the demands of their caring role.

The Centre has its own bus and respite clients are collected and returned home by our staff. A small daily fee is payable, which includes transportation, activities and lunch. Our clients also enjoy bus outings.
The centre is available to people who have a diagnosis of dementia and live within the Bankstown area.

We also offer bi-monthly carers meeting for the carers of our dementia clients. The purpose is to provide support and encouragement. It’s a great chance to catch up, share stories and say hello.
