18 December-Update

18 Dec 2020 | Bankstown

UPDATE AS AT 4PM 18th December, 2020

There has been an Urgent change from NSW Health that as at 4pm today, masks are mandatory for all staff and visitors, again. Masks will be available at sign desks from today.

Thank You.

Dear relatives and friends

In the last 24 hours, the NSW Government have advised of an increasing number of cases of COVID-19 being detected in the Northern Beaches Local Government Area and Penrith Local Government Area.

Because of the speed and number of cases being detected, the NSW Government have put immediate restrictions in place for certain areas.

Effective immediately, family members or visitors who live in or have been in the Penrith or Northern Beaches Local Government Areas since 3rd December, OR, been in contact with anyone from those areas since 3rd December, cannot visit Bankstown City Aged Care facilities at this time.

Please see attached our updated visitor poster for more information.

Because the extent of the current outbreak is not yet fully known, families and visitors from all other areas are strongly encouraged to wear a mask when they enter the facility, and we will have those available at the check in point at each village for your use.

We appreciate your continued support of our efforts to keep our residents and staff safe at this time.

If you have any queries related to visiting arrangements, please call your village manager to discuss further.

Kind regards

Michelle Doyle
Chief Operations Officer
